Sarah Shalash
Project Fellow
Sarah is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in International Affairs & Diplomacy at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs & Political Science with a Minor in Arabic and a focus in Cybersecurity from the University of Cincinnati. She is passionate about disarmament negotiations, diplomacy, with a keen interest in the intersections of politics and religion, as well as the UNSDGs.
Sarah previously worked as a Constituent Advocate for the United States Senate. She currently serves as the Vice Curator for the Cincinnati Global Shapers Hub, assisting in local initiatives. In her community, she is also involved in youth mentorship, special education, and advocacy for Palestinian human rights. She participated in the Global Negotiation Conference in 2024 and is now a project fellow with the Institute for Global Negotiation.
