Open Volunteer Positions

Communications Team

Contact for applicants: Vera Hauser, Head of Communications

As the Institute for Global Negotiation (IGN) grows, we are looking for motivated volunteers who are passionate about storytelling and committed to IGN’s mission to join our Communications Team:

Website Management

  • Oversee the content, design, and functionality of the IGN website

  • Experience with WIX (or similar platforms) is a plus

Project Communication

  • Plan and deliver marketing campaigns across all IGN channels

  • Collaborate closely with project teams (e.g. Global Negotiation Support)

Internal Communication

  • Support communication between IGN and its membership base (e.g., members’ newsletter)

  • Strengthen collaboration within the IGN team and across projects

All positions are volunteer work and call for individuals who are proactive, self-organised, and comfortable taking initiative in a remote, international environment. No specific professional background is required, but experience in communications, project management, or digital tools is helpful. Most importantly, we value curiosity, reliability, and a collaborative mindset – qualities that make it easy to contribute and integrate within the diverse and global IGN Team.

Volunteering with IGN is an opportunity to make a tangible impact while working with colleagues from around the world. You’ll gain experience managing real projects, strengthen your communication and organisational skills, and help shape how our community connects and grows. It’s a chance to contribute your ideas. The time commitment is about 4 hours per week on average, depending on individual availability and project needs.

You see yourself in one of these roles? We look forward to hearing from you.

Send your CV and a statement of motivation to communications@global-negotiation.org.
