
Aparna Trichur
IGN Fellow
Aparna Trichur is an international relations professional with over a decade of global experience across diplomatic missions, international NGOs, and the private sector. Originally from India and currently based in the Netherlands, she brings a strong track record in managing high-level government delegations including State, Royal, and Ministerial visits, in coordinating diplomatic protocol, bilateral policy engagements and building strategic partnerships with UN agencies, civil society, and private sector actors.
Most recently, she served as the Global Alliances and Partnerships Lead at the World Benchmarking Alliance where she led efforts to advance Agenda 2030 through inclusive, multi-stakeholder engagement. Her work has taken her across Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe, and North America, where she has led and facilitated high-level dialogues and convenings on targeted action for the SDGs.
Aparna currently serves as a Project Fellow at the Institute of Global Negotiation, where she contributes to the Global Negotiation Support Project — an initiative designed to strengthen the negotiation and mediation capacity of governments, diplomats, and multilateral actors. She is fluent in five languages and committed to fostering meaningful global engagement and cooperation.
