Fiorella Larissa Erni
Senior Fellow
Fiorella Larissa Erni is a professional negotiator with over a decade of experience negotiating on the frontlines of some of the world’s most complex conflict zones with the International Committee of the Red Cross. She later went on to train humanitarian workers and diplomats in negotiation as the Head of Operations at the Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation.
Today, she supports private sector clients in high-stakes negotiations and offers tailored negotiation training and one-on-one coaching—both through her own company, Stand Tall, and as an affiliate of Negotiated Resolutions.
She is also the founder and CEO of Cheetah Stories SA, a vegan luxury high-heel brand with a bold vision: to redefine luxury footwear by uniting ethics, style, and comfort—and to shape the future of fashion.
Academically, Fiorella holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Anthropology and Arabic Literature from the University of Zurich, a Master’s in Conflict and Development Studies from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, and an MBA in Hospitality Management from the École Hôtelière de Lausanne. She also completed a Diploma in Animal Behaviour from the University of Oxford—an unlikely but deeply insightful foundation for understanding human behaviour in negotiation.
Fiorella joined the Institute for Global Negotiation (IGN) because she believes negotiation remains an undervalued skill. When mastered, it has the power to transform not only individual outcomes, but also business, diplomacy, and politics.
