Mehdi Aissaoui

Mehdi Aissaoui completed a Master’s in Human Rights and Multi-Level Governance at the University of Padova. He has professional experience as a program academic assistant with the Master of Arts in Human Rights at the University of Vienna, as a researcher with Morocco’s National Human Rights Council, and as a legal researcher at Agjal Law Firm in Casablanca. His scholarship, conducted primarily in English with additional work in Arabic and French, engages with critical theory, human rights, and system dynamics. At its core, His work examines how structures of power, meaning, and knowledge interact, with the aim of bridging theoretical inquiry and practical engagement for more equitable social change.
At the IGN, he is part of the Journal for Global Negotiation team.
