
Patrick Wall
Head of Strategic Partnerships
Patrick Wall holds the position of Head of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, he oversees the Institute’s relationships with key partners and supports project teams on matters relating to partnerships.
Patrick is also co-founder of the Global Strategic Initiatives Group, a small consultancy in international affairs and international law that works with the international community to develop innovative, ambitious and pragmatic solutions to global challenges. He is also a Senior Legal Consultant with Lexbridge Lawyers.
Patrick has previously worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, where he played a central role in the negotiation of the 2018 Global Compact on Refugees. He has also worked for the Government of Australia in a number of roles, including at the Attorney-General’s Department, the Senate and the Federal Court.
Patrick holds Bachelors degrees from the University of Sydney in political science and law, as well as a Masters of Diplomacy from the Australian National University and an LL.M. in International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute.
Patrick currently lives in Florence, Italy.
