Climate Champion: Negotiation and Leadership Course
The aim of this project is to develop and implement a skills-focused, mentorship-based training programme that will provide young climate change advocates with the tools they need to implement climate action within their communities.
Divided Societies: Negotiating the Past, Present and Future
Societal conflicts are not simply a challenge for political actors but have a direct impact on our daily lives and how we deal with one another. This conference will examine the role that negotiating our past, present, and future can play in overcoming social divisions.
E-Learning Simulations in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
The project will begin the development of a portfolio of electronic resources for use in the teaching of negotiation and conflict resolution. These will include interactive simulations that can be used for both in-person and online teaching as well as individual simulations and resources which can be worked through independently. A core feature of the project is the development of instructor guides and analysis tools to help with the facilitation of each simulation and its integration into existing course curricula by professors.
The Future of Global Cooperation: Ethics and Governance
The COVID-19 pandemic has illustrated both the necessity of and challenges to global cooperation. This conference will reflect on the role that diplomacy can play as a tool to overcome some of the most pressing issues facing the world.
